The Andean Cosmovision is a holistic worldview rooted in the indigenous cultures of the Andes, encompassing a profound spiritual relationship between humans, nature, and the cosmos. Central to this belief system is Pachamama, or Mother Earth, revered as a living, conscious entity who provides and sustains life. Pachamama embodies fertility, agriculture, and the interconnectedness of all beings, and is honored through rituals and offerings that express gratitude and seek harmony with the natural world.

Integral to the Andean Cosmovision are the Raymi festivals, seasonal celebrations that honor various aspects of nature and deities. Notable among these are Inti Raymi, the Festival of the Sun, celebrating the sun god Inti and marking the winter solstice; Killa Raymi, the Festival of the Moon, honoring the moon goddess Mama Killa and associated with femininity and fertility; and Pachamama Raymi, the Festival of Mother Earth, observed on August 1st to give thanks to Pachamama for her blessings and to ensure continued harmony and abundance.
